Holman new director of Nursing
at Life Care Center of Post Falls
POST FALLS - Life Care Center of Post Falls, a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is welcoming a new director of nursing, Cindy Holman.
Holman, a registered nurse, has worked in long-term care for seven years. In this field, she has been a resident care manager, staff development coordinator and wound care nurse.
"I am excited to pursue my plan of becoming a director of nursing," said Holman. "I love the geriatric population."
Holman has a bachelor's degree in nursing and is also certified as a hospice and palliative care nurse.
Originally from Phoenix, Holman currently resides in Rathdrum with her husband, Joe. They have three children and two grandchildren.
Life Care Center of Post Falls, located at 460 N. Garden Plaza Court, is one of nine skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Idaho operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
It is accredited by The Joint Commission and is the only skilled nursing in Kootenai County to achieve a four-star rating from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Idaho Department of Labor spring job fair is March 16 in Kellogg
KELLOGG - The Idaho Department of Labor is hosting a spring job fair from noon to 6 p.m. on March 16.
The job fair will be at the department's Kellogg office, at 35 Wildcat Way.
Sara Lamson, manager of the Silver Valley Local Office, said the department is doing the job fair because of the Lucky Friday silver mine closure.
Employers participating include:
Coeur d'Alene Mines Corp., Essential Metals Corp., Sage Technical-CDL Training, U.S. Army and Army Reserves, Shasta Gold Corp., Experience Works, Idaho Transportation Department, Addus Healthcare, Tahoe Resources Inc., Express Employment Services, Alliance Family Services, Walmart, Camp Fire USA, and Idaho National Guard.
