Glacier Nordic wraps up season

The Glacier Nordic Club prep team capped off their competitve season this month with Junior National qualifiers at Solider Hollow in Utah, and a final race in McCall, Idaho.

Connor Gray finshed the season ranked 19th among J1 boys in the competitive Intermountain divison. Henry Holt finshed ranked 13th among J2 boys and Cassidy Grady finished ranked 16th among J2 girls. A top-10 ranking is required to make the Intermountain National team.

Glacier Nordic wraps up their season this week at the Yellowstone Rendezvous Race in West Yellowstone.

Former Glacier Nordic team member Jack Steele qualifed for the Junior Olympics with the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation. He will race on the Intermountain boys team at nationals in Utah. At the end of three qualifers, Steele was ranked No. 3 among J1 and OJ boys.

Younger Glacier Nordic racers recently competed at the Western States Youth Ski Festival in Bozeman. Glacier Nordic was represented by Keelan Gorman, Preston Ring, Casey Schneider, Lucas Coulter, Josie Schneider, Fiona Coulter and Willem Gray.

Keelan Gorman —  skate, 6th; classic,10th; downhill,12th; obstacle, 9th

Preston Ring — skate, 20th; classic,17th; downhill,14th; obstacle,14th

Casey Schneider — skate,13th; classic, DNS; downhill, 8th; obstacle,18th

Lucus Coulter — skate, 7thl; classic, 7th; downhill, 2nd; obstacle, 7th

Josie Schneider — skate, 4th; classic, DNS; downhill, 3rd; obstacle, 3rd

Fiona Coulter — skate, 5th; classic, 6th; downhill, 6th; obstacle, 5th

Willem Gray — skate, 1st; classic, 1st, downhill, 1st; obstacle, 2nd

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
