Retiring Sheriff Daryl Anderson pins the new sheriff, Roby Bowe, after Bowe took the oath of office last Thursday. All elected county officials took their oath one at a time in a standing room only district courtroom that day.

After newcomers took the oath to replace them in office last Thursday, retired County Commissioner John Konzen, Sheriff Daryl Anderson, and 19th District Judicial Court Justice Michael Prezeau were honored at a retirement party. Konzen and Anderson served 12 years in office and Prezeau nearly 16 years.
