Daughter is suspected pill thief

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a resident of Haywire Gulch near Kalispell who said someone forced her way into the home through a sealed dog door and stole approximately 150 methadone pills, half an ounce of marijuana and between $150 and $175 in cash. The caller’s daughter is the suspected thief.
A man reported one of his ex-wife’s daughters came to his Pioneer Road home in Evergreen to pick up medicine for a dog’s ears, but that the girl also took $50 off a table. The man left her a message telling her to return the money and is giving her a chance to return it before filing charges.
Officers made an arrest after responding to a pawn shop on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell where an employee reported someone was attempting to pawn stolen merchandise.
Locks were cut off two storage units on Montana 35 in Bigfork, but only one unit was missing items. The incident is being reported as criminal mischief and a possible theft of services.
A Remington rifle and Taurus pistol were reported stolen from a camper on Shadow Lane in Evergreen.
A Taurus pistol was reported stolen from a truck on U.S. 2 West in Kalispell.
Money was reported stolen from a home on West Evergreen Drive in Evergreen.
A resident of White Birch Lane in Evergreen reported hearing a rifle shot early in the morning.
A sexual assault was reported.
The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a woman who said someone stole jewelry from her home on Fifth Avenue East. She said she believed her grandson was the culprit, and when officers found and approached him, he threw the jewelry in a trash can. Officers reclaimed the jewelry and returned it to the grandmother, who did not press charges.
A resident of a housing complex on Second Avenue West reported a man urinating out the main door.
It was reported that someone shot out the driver’s-side window of a Jeep Cherokee with what appeared to be a BB gun on Fourth Avenue East.
A man reported he let a woman use his cellphone on Woodland Park Drive, and she ran off with it.
A girl was apprehended attempting to shoplift from a store on North Main Street.
A cellphone, charger, Bluetooth headset and book of checks were reported stolen from a truck on Commons Way.
A wallet was reported stolen on Sunny View Lane.
It was reported that someone threw a rock through the front window of a building on West Center Street.
The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report from a resident of Martha Road who said someone broke into his apartment again and stole his medication again.
A woman walking along 12th Avenue West reported hearing a woman scream for help. Officers were unable to locate anyone in distress in the area.
Officers with the Whitefish Police Department made an arrest after responding to a reported physical disturbance on Washington Avenue.
Thefts were reported on Flathead and Somers avenues.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary on Juniper Lane.
