Now that's service

POST FALLS - It took some time, but brothers David and Jeremy Clark recognize each other's strengths these days.
Maybe that's a reason why the partners of Full Circle Satellite in Post Falls were recently recognized by Dish Network as one of the country's top five retailers for customer service.
"I was the older brother who always got stuck taking care of his little brother during summers," David said. "I spent way too much time with him as a kid, he irritated me and I beat the heck out of him until he got bigger than me.
"But now we're good."
In fact, David, 30, has reason to thank his 26-year-old brother.
It was Jeremy who brought David in to the business about two years ago after David got burned out from owning My Place Cafe in Liberty Lake.
"We still fight, but the cool thing is that we're exactly opposite," said Jeremy. "I'm talkative, outgoing and hands-on. David is more analytical and pays attention to detail.
"That's the reason we're partners."
David runs the office/sales side of the business, while Jeremy heads up customer service. They employ two installers.
The company is a retailer and installer for both Dish Network and DirecTV and offers Internet and audio-visual services ranging from TV wall mounts to surround sound.
For the company earning the Dish award, Jeremy and his wife, Cindi, will take a week-long vacation to Mexico in March.
"The top 75 retailers win and 70 of them are based on who sells the most," Jeremy said, adding that the remaining five are honored for customer service.
The company had about 340 customers in 2011 and the only two cancellations were due to a death and a business closing.
"It's a hard award to win, so when we won it was pretty cool," Jeremy said.
Jeremy said he decided to start his own satellite business because he believed the industry as a whole needed improved customer service.
"I used to work for another company in this industry before it got too big of a head," he said.
The brothers, who grew up in Post Falls, said they are just hometown boys who want to provide the same customer service and work ethic that was evident in the community they grew up in.
"We're up front with people, so they know exactly what they're getting and how much it will be," David said. "That's a huge part of people not canceling on us."
Dave Gerber is among the local residents who are "thrilled" with the company after responding to an ad in the newspaper.
"The service of another company we called was abysmal, but Full Circle said they'd come right out ... and they did," Gerber said. "The most important thing is that they did exactly what they said they were going to do.
"We also referred Jeremy to my dad who was 91, and Jeremy took care of him beautifully."
David said he and his brother have found a way to thrive in this rough economy.
"We want people to be treated the way we were treated growing up here," he said.
