ST. IGNATIUS - Mission kept it close in the first half but couldn't quite pull out the victory against Loyola, who took the 54-30 win on Saturday.
The Breakers improved to 6-2 on the season, scoring 32 points in the second half to Mission's 10. Stephanie Lewandowski scored 11 to lead the Lady Bulldogs, Ceclia Koskela had eight.

POLSON - The district court omnibus hearing for murder suspect Makueeyapee Whitford has been continued again, with Whitford's attorney Steven Eschenbacher requesting a six-week continuance in a brief court appearance Thursday. Eschenbacher indicated that the request is motivated by "outstanding discovery motions" that are still being processed.
