Daniel Joseph Zehm, 52, died Dec. 31, 2011. He was born Jan. 20, 1959, in Spokane.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Harley and his sister, Brenda.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; brother Jim; sisters, Carolyn and Sandy; numerous nieces and nephews; and his wife of two years, Sondra.
Dan was a kind and generous man that was always willing to help anyone in need, be it a ride to the airport or finding and fixing a car for someone in need. Dan's primary focus in life has been "fiddling" with cars, particularly classic cars for which he won many awards and trophies.
In his 52 years he made many friends and helped a lot of people. Dan his been a lifetime resident of Dalton Gardens. He graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School, began working for the state in his junior year and continued working there more than 23 years, until a neck injury forced him to retire. All who knew Dan know what a tragedy his passing is. He will be missed.
In lieu of flowers or gifts a donation to the upkeep of Wellspring Meadows would be preferred.
