Jordan G. Chandler, 25, of Libby died Jan. 2, 2012, at his home in Libby. 

He was born May 14, 1986, in Libby to Joel and Markell Carper Chandler.  He grew up in Libby and attended the Libby Public Schools. 

He married Amber Nixon on Jan. 26, 2010, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. 

Jordan worked a number of different jobs, which include pouring concrete, auto mechanics and working as a deckhand on his grandfather’s boat in Oregon. 

He loved to travel to Oregon, camping, hunting, and the outdoors, trucks, dirt bikes, horticulture, and botany. 

He had an entrepreneur spirit.  Jordan had a great love for his son, his wife, his sister, his parents and his nephew. 

His sister, Hannah Marie Chandler, and his grandmother, Billie Itzen, preceded him in death. 

Survivors include his wife Amber Chandler of Libby; son Jairdan Chandler of Libby; parents Joel and Marki Chandler of Libby; aunt Kathy Carper of Libby; aunt and uncle Debbie andBrian Lukoszyk of Astoria, Ore.; uncle Dana Carper of Longview, Wash.; grandfather Gene Itzen of Astoria, Ore.; nephew Jayce Irwin of Monaca, Pa., and numerous other family members in Montana, Washington and Oregon.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 11, 2012, at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby.
