Wesley Richard Johnson, 63, of Ronan, Mont., passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 31, 2011, at Community Medical Center in Missoula surrounded by his family.

Wes was born in Shell Lake, Wisc., on March 2, 1948.  He was born to John Wesley and Beverly Johnson.   

He is survived by his wife Gina, mother Beverly, sister Jackie (Jeff) Van Helden; two children, daughter Tammy (Wes) Barr; son Shon (Cathy) Johnson;  son Josh (Tara) Starkel; son Jake (Tyanna) Starkel; and eight grandchildren. 

He is preceded in death by his father John Wesley.

Celebration of life will be held at the Ronan Community Center at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012.

Memorials may be made to the Montana Hope Project or the Spokane Shriner’s Hospital.
