PABLO - After Christmas break, the SKC Lady Bison got back into
action with two games against Sheridan College last weekend in
Pablo.
The Lady Bison got excellent production from Sharna Fraizer and
Chantel Jenkins on Friday and Saturday. The two combined for 58
points during the two days of play.

On Friday, the Lady Bison and Sheridan College got off to a lowscoring first half as SKC trailed at halftime 27-17 despite two three-pointers by Chantel Jenkins and another trey from Kristi Olney. In the second half, both teams would pick up the offensive poduction as the Lady Bison notched 30 points in the second half but fell 68-47 in the game. Sharna Frazier came unhinged in the second half and lit the baskets up for 14 of her 16 points. Jenkins finished the game with 16 points as well.
On Saturday, SKC and Sheridan increased the offense and Sheridan led 37-25 at halftime. In the second half, six different played scored for the Lady Bison as they notched 30 points in the second half again.
While Sheridan College won 71-55, the Lady Bison bumped up the offensive production. Sharna Frazier finished with 10 points and Chantel Jenkins had 16. Priscilla Raven had eight. The SKC women will host the University of Great Falls on Friday at 5 p.m. and Saturday at noon. The SKC men will host UGF on Friday at 8 p.m. and on Saturday at 2 p.m. All games are played at the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center.

POLSON - The district court omnibus hearing for murder suspect Makueeyapee Whitford has been continued again, with Whitford's attorney Steven Eschenbacher requesting a six-week continuance in a brief court appearance Thursday. Eschenbacher indicated that the request is motivated by "outstanding discovery motions" that are still being processed.
