Suzanne K. Campbell, 41 of Troy

Suzanne Kay Campbell, 41, of Troy, Mont., passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at Troy.  

Suzanne, a beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, was born on April 8, 1970, in San Diego, Calif., to James and Genevieve (Pietz) Bonifas.  She attended elementary through junior high school in San Diego.  

She and her siblings moved to Troy in 1985, where she graduated Valedictorian of the Troy High School Class of 1988.  

She was accepted at the University of Montana where she studied zoology from 1988 – 1992.  Upon completion of her studies at the U of M, she enlisted in the United States Air Force.  

Suzanne served her country for 11 years where she gained employment in Washington, D.C., at the Pentagon.  During her time in the service she gave birth to two beautiful children, twins Kaitlynn and Lucus.  

In 2011, she moved back to Troy, with her children, to care for her father.

Suzanne enjoyed taking long, luxurious walks in the mountains.  She loved the outdoors, the trees and fresh air.  She was a lover of all animals and she very much enjoyed reading.  

Suzanne loved sharing in every part of her kids’ lives and very much enjoyed spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.  

She was preceded in death by her mother, Genevieve L. Bonifas; brother, Timothy Bonifas; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Survivors include her children, Lucus Campbell and Kaitlynn Campbell both of Troy; a sister Rebecca Miller and husband, Tony of Texas; a brother Jeffrey Bonifas and wife, Jennifer of Troy; father James Bonifas of Troy; three nephews, Jacob Bonifas, Tyler Bonifas, and Michael Miller; a niece, Erica Bonifas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at the Troy Church of God, 212 Kalispell Ave., with a reception immediately following the service.  

Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory of Libby and Eureka.
