Maas has first Boundary Co. baby of the year

Boundary County welcomes the first baby of 2012, born on Jan. 6, 2012, to Rebecca Maas of Bonners Ferry, at Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint.

The baby girl’s name is Paisley Ann Maas. She weighed 6 pounds, 15.5 ounces and measured 19 2/4 inches.

Her grandparents are Russ and Cindy Maas of Bonners Ferry.

Keeping in tradition, local Bonners Ferry businesses have donated gifts to mom and baby.

Baby Go Round gave baby a $25 gift certificate, Wells Fargo Bank gave baby a $25 savings account.  Pape Machinery  donated a sippy cup and a John Deere blanket. 

Katie Bluemenauer Photography donated a free photo session. Mane Street Hair gave the gift of the  baby’s first hair cut and Bonners Books donated the book, “The Runaway Bunny.”

Safeway donated a gift basket of baby wipes, powder, shampoo, lotion and bath soap. Huckleberry Variety donated a gift basket and the Bonners Ferry Herald gave a gift bag containing a bow, a bib and baby clothes.
