Hilda McGaugh, 84, passed away suddenly, at home, on Jan. 11, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John McGaugh; and parents, Peter and Mary Jane Myre.

She is survived by nieces, Lesli Webb of Loudon, Tenn., and Lynn Bockelman of Hickman Neb.; and nephews, Tim Williams of Livingston, and Mike Williams of Billings.

She was a graduate of the University of Montana-Missoula and spent many years as a teacher, a true passion of hers.

She met and married John in Livingston in 1952, and after 49 years of devotion to each other, John passed away Dec. 17, 2001.

She loved her Bigfork family and was active in many areas, including Bigfork Development, Bigfork Summer Playhouse, PEO, and the Retired Teachers Association.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned, per her request. Arrangements are under the direction of Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
