Travis Wear had 19 points and eight rebounds, and UCLA built an 18-point halftime lead en route to a 66-47 victory over Southern California on Sunday night in Los Angeles to keep the Trojans (5-13, 0-5) winless in Pac-12 play with their sixth consecutive loss overall.
Lazeric Jones added 15 points for the Bruins (10-7, 3-2 Pac-12), who've won three in a row since the start of the year.

No. 23 Creighton 90, S. Illinois 71: At Omaha, Neb., sophomore star Doug McDermott scored 25 points and went over 1,000 for his career, and the Bluejays (16-2, 6-1 Missouri Valley Conference) defeated the Salukis (6-12, 3-4).
