Forestry committee to meet Feb. 15

COEUR d'ALENE - The Idaho Forest Practices Act Advisory Committee will meet via videoconference from the Idaho Department of Lands Coeur d'Alene office and the Boise IDL director's office on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The agenda includes updates on the work of the FPAAC Shade Subcommittee to modify the minimum-shade rule and the streamside-retention rule. The meeting also will include updates regarding the new Pesticide General Permit and an overview of Douglas-fir tussock moth defoliation in Idaho.

The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Sundance East conference room in the Coeur d'Alene office, 3284 W. Industrial Loop, and the Garnet West conference room in the Boise office, 300 N. Sixth St.

The public is welcome and an RSVP is required.
