Sheriff’s Report

Jan. 2

• Strange car was parked in the driveway of a concerned resident. Michael Phillips, 39, was arrested near the Old Sinclair Road. Suspect was charged with a DUI, felony possession of dangerous drugs, misdemeanor possession of dangerous drugs and three counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at the Eureka Justice Court for $2,335.

• Caller reported a male subject rammed their vehicle and pulled a pistol on them near McMillian Mountain Road and Luscher Drive. The male returned to his residence. Caller was walking down the road because their car is inoperable. Caller requested law enforcement. Male subject came to caller’s residence and is now threatening caller’s life and the lives of his family members.

 No arrests were reported.

Jan. 1

• Flathead County Sheriff’s Department called to confirm a warrant with LCSD. Christopher Donald Becker, 28, was arrested on a county warrant for failure to appear and failure to pay for a campsite violation. Bond was set at $235.

• Female caller reported being a victim of an assault on the 300 block of Idaho Avenue. Victim was taken by ambulance to SJLH.

Dec. 31

• Caller advised two males were seen walking down the 2nd Street Extension, toward California Avenue and the New-To-You store. One had a gun and the other male had a bow — they were dragging a deer and trailing blood on the street. Fish & Game were called to respond.

• On-site arrest was made for a felony-parole violation. Craig Alan Barrows, 25, was arrested, no bond was set.

• Troy Police Department received a call from a business near Highway 56 and Old Highway 2, on Shannon Lake Road. Caller reported finding one of his clerks hiding in the bushes outside. The called was turned over to the LCSD to handle the report. The clerk was allegedly accosted and threatened by a male subject while hunting. Male was screaming at her and threatened to kill her. No arrests were made.

• Bartender from the VFW requested an officer. Male subject was striking women. Vern William Reidhaar, 41, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, simple assault and resisting arrest — Reidhaar was also wanted on a $20,000 felony warrant. Bond was set at $1,105.

Dec. 31

• Caller reported someone stealing her mail near the 200 block of Pinewood Lane.

Troy Police Department

Jan. 2

• Caller reported animal cruelty near the 400 block of east Grant Avenue.

Jan. 1

• Criminal mischief was reported at the Post Office. Young female was allegedly throwing fireworks in the mailbox at the Post Office. Female suspect is wearing all black. Officers responded, no obvious signs of fireworks were found in the mailbox.

• Caller reported her boyfriend had assaulted her the night before and wanted to file a complaint. Caller advised she had gone to SJLH to seek treatment for her injuries.

Dec. 28

• Caller reported a dog, possibly a mini-doberman, was by Booze n’ Bait and was almost hit by a car. No animal control was available for the call.

Dec. 27

• Caller stated someone made vulgar pictures in the snow on the caller’s car on the 200 block of east Missoula Avenue.
