Habitat for Humanity fundraiser is Feb. 11

COEUR d'ALENE - Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho's third annual Hearts for Homes Benefit Dinner and Auction is scheduled Feb. 11 at the Best Western Inn Coeur d'Alene.

It will feature Press columnist and 1080 ESPN morning radio personality Kerri Thoreson as master of ceremonies, and Rick Sparing serving as auctioneer.

It begins at 5 p.m. with a cocktail reception no-host bar and silent auction bidding, followed by dinner and a live auction.

"We look forward to strong support from our community for this special cause," said Michaelle Sande, branch manager at Sterling Savings Bank in Hayden and Hearts for Homes Committee chair. "With your help, we hope to reach our fundraising goal of $25,000 to assist local working families achieve their dream of home ownership."

Tickets are $45.

Auction items are being accepted.
