PABLO — A three-car accident sent one woman to the hospital on Saturday, Jan. 21, but the woman was later released.

At about 12:15 p.m., a woman driving a 1999 Jeep Cherokee was making a left from Hwy. 93 to Reservoir Rd. when a woman heading south on Hwy. 93 in a white 2000 Ford Focus hit the Jeep, causing it to spin around and hit a 2005 Dodge pickup waiting on a red light on Reservoir Rd. All three drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the accident.

Trooper Shad Andersen responded to the accident and noted that high berms from plowed snow limited visibility for the drivers.

“When they plow the intersections, they put (the snow) on the end of the intersection and it blocked visibility,” Andersen said. “The Jeep turning left onto Reservoir Rd. didn’t see the white car in the southbound lane.”

Andersen noted that the roads themselves were clear and did not play a role in the accident.
