Taking pen in hand, I write truth and righteousness by way of the Holy Ghost to dispel ignorance about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jesus Christ did restore his church to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. Jesus Christ did authorize, approve and personally name his Restored Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (Doctrine & Covenants 115:4-5)

The Book of Mormon is the second scriptural witness that Jesus is Christ. The Holy Bible is the first scriptural witness that Jesus is the Christ.

Mormon was a prophet of the Lord Jesus Christ, on this side of the earth, over 1,600 years ago.

Many latter-day saints proclaim verbally to the question, "What church do you belong to?" - "I am a Mormon." This is technically incorrect, but is used as a shortened nickname response. The only real mormon is a person whose actual given name is Mormon.

The word "church" means: people or body.

The word "saints" means: members.

The Lord named His members Latter Day Saints to differentiate between His present-day members and those of His church when he was upon the earth with His ministry.

We believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. They are one as to purpose. They are three different individuals. (See St. Matthew Chapter 3, verses 16-17.)

Ignorance is not bliss. So to all those folks who do not understand, say I: "When ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, He will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things." (Book of Mormon, Moroni 10: 4-5)

As a latter day member of the people of Jesus Christ, I testify that by the power of the Holy Ghost, I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the word did restore His church to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I further testify that the Lord did restore Aaronic Priesthood, the Melchisedek Priesthood, His saving ordinances, His temples and meeting houses and much more, for our benefit; so that we may return to our Heavenly Father, in a forgiven state.

Jesus Christ did purchase me with a great price, upon the cross. I love Him, adore Him, and honor Him as my Lord and Savior. I look forward to the Resurrection! May God the Father bless us all!
