40th Anniversary

Brad and Sue (White) Alden, of Coeur d'Alene, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Jan. 22, 2012. They were married Jan. 22, 1972, at Grandview Presbyterian Church in Glendale, Calif.

Sue is a first-grade teacher and Brad is a junior high/high school teacher and athletic director.

They have two daughters, Mindy Culver and husband Andrew of Post Falls, and Michelle Vetsch and husband Nathan of Coeur d'Alene; along with three grandchildren.

Vi McHenry

90th Birthday

Vi McHenry will be celebrating her 90th birthday from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3115 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene.

Hosting the party are her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Richard Bird. Please come and join her for her first birthday party. No gifts please.

Dallas Aubrey Hays was born at 3:22 a.m. Jan. 5, 2012, to Valerie Horn and Clinton Hays of Coeur d'Alene. He weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. and was 21 inches long. Brothers are Carson Hays and Damien Day. Sister is Charlee Hays. Maternal grandparents are April Kinsey and Todd Kinsey. Paternal grandparents are Cindy Peugh and Maurice Peugh.

Samuel Roy Horner was born at 9:56 a.m. Jan. 20, 2012, to Renae and Devon Horner of Hayden. He weighed 7 lbs. and was 20 inches long. Brothers are William and Colin. Maternal grandparents are Lorrie Miller and Ray Yates. Paternal grandparents are W. Burke and Susan Horner.
