Hashley leads Glacier girls past Hellgate

MISSOULA - Cassidy Hashley scored 10 points and pulled down 18 rebounds as the Glacier Wolfpack downed host Missoula Hellgate 40-26 in a Western AA girls basketball game on Tuesday.
Glacier (3-2, 8-4) outrebounded the Knights 37-21.
The Wolfpack led 20-13 at half, then really cranked it up with a 12-5 third quarter.
Nicole Heavirland added seven points for the Wolfpack.

Stillwater Christian 52
Jordan Danz scored 14 points, had five assists and six steals in a losing effort on Tuesday for the Stillwater Christian girls basketball team.
Charlo defeated the host Cougars, 60-52.
"Charlo is a very solid ball team. We came back strong to put ourselves in a position to try to win it. We came within three with 2 1/2 minutes left," said Stillwater coach Denise Topp.
"The girls played hard with a lot of heart," she added.
Samantha Red Elk added 10 points (eight in the fourth quarter) and five assists to the Cougar effort.
Charlo led 30-18 at half and 44-32 after three quarters. Stillwater (14-4) outscored the Vikings 20-16 in the fourth quarter.
Flathead Valley Home School will be at Stillwater on Thursday.

Polson 43, Eureka 26
EUREKA - Riley Kenney scored 19 points and Mackenzie Banner added eight as the Polson Lady Pirates downed Eureka 43-26 in a nonconference girls basketball matchup on Tuesday.
"We were pretty flat tonight," said Eureka coach R.J. McDole.
"We were down 10 at half, then they outscored us 12-2 in the third," he said.
The Lions did rally with a 12-9 fourth quarter, "but by then the damage was done," the coach said.
Alyssa White paced the Lions with eight points.
Eureka (7-8) plays host on Saturday to Thompson Falls.
