A caller reported a large cow moose eastbound along West Idaho Street to the Kalispell Police Department Sunday night.
The moose was spotted at Baskin-Robbins and Albertsons and started running into neighborhoods to the south with people chasing after it with cameras. The moose fell asleep in a yard at Fourth Avenue East and First Street East, according to police, and apparently left town without incident later that night.
A man on Eight Avenue West said his drunk girlfriend got mad and stole his wallet.
Earlier, a drunk man yelling and throwing things was removed from a business on First Avenue West North.
