COEUR d'ALENE - Brent Wingham picked up a win in the nightcap for Coeur d'Alene, a game called in the fifth innigs due to lightning as the Loggers beat Moscow in American Legion "A" play.

Colton Gray went 2 for 4 with a double and Devin Kluss went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs.

In the first game, Ethan Brandt went 2 for 3 in the loss for the Loggers, who start the Wood Bat tournament on Wednesday.

Lakers 6-14

Mt. Spokane 7-13

COEUR d'ALENE - Cody Garza went 3 for 3 with four runs scores, Brodie Larson went 3 for 4 and Gage Holmes drove in the winning run in the top of the 7th to lead the Coeur d'Alene Lakers under-16 squad over Mt. Spokane 14-13 in Northern "A" League play on Monday at Lake City High.

Garza went 3 for 4 with two doubles scored in the Lakers' 7-6 loss in the first game of the doubleheader.

The Lakers (13-7, 11-4) host the Coeur d'Alene Lumberjacks today at 5 p.m. at LCHS.
