The Glacier Twins woes continued last week as they failed to get a win at the Sapa-Johnsrud tournament.

Glacier took an early 5-0 lead in the bottom of the third, but the Lakers scored six in the top of the fourth. Glacier tied it 7-7 in the bottom of the fifth, but the Lakers added a run in the sixth and another in the seventh to secure the win.

Glacier opened the tourney June 28 with a loss to the Club Spokane Dodgers 16-2 in a game that was called after five innings.

The Dodgers scored 15 runs in the first two innings to seal the victory.

On June 27 the Twins Lost to the Kalispell Lakers 11-10. The game was tied at 5 runs apiece after three innings. Kalispell led 11-7 going into the bottom of the ninth, but the Twins rallied with three innings in the bottom of the inning, but couldn’t get the tying run across the plate as they had the bases loaded with just one out.
