The owner of a business on Second Avenue East contacted the Kalispell Police Department after guests at a nearby hotel were bringing their dogs over to the business to let their dogs relieve themselves because hotel management would not let the guests take their dogs on hotel property.

A man wearing all black was seen carrying a butcher knife while walking along Three Mile Drive near Kalispell Middle School.

Officers responded to U.S. 93 North where a man was reported fighting himself and swinging his arms. The man, a transient, told police he was looking for a place to do his kung fu exercises.

A woman was transported to the hospital and animal control notified after a large husky attacked another dog, then bit the woman on Great View Drive.

Officers responded to reports of people setting off fireworks on North Meridian Road, 13th Street East, Empire Loop and First Avenue West.

A Western Drive resident said someone took a shot at his cat.

A boy was arrested at a property on Second Street West after fighting with another person. The boy later was returned to the location.

Officers responded to a bank on Second Avenue East after a woman was verbally abusive toward a teller and then blocked the door so no one could leave.

A man was arrested after he allegedly pushed a woman around on Appleway Drive.

A youth was cited and released to their father after a traffic stop on Two Mile Drive.

Someone broke into a property on U.S. 2 West by pulling the pins out of a door hinge.

A man stole alcohol from a store on West Idaho Street.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a Lenwood Lane resident who heard it from a friend, who heard it from a friend, that a man was planning to come murder his entire family.

Deputies responded to a private airfield near West Glacier after a pilot aborted a takeoff for an unknown reason, damaging the plane. No one was injured.

A man was arrested after deputies responded to a physical disturbance at a bar on Lenwood Lane, where the man reported his girlfriend attacked him. He had bloody hands but refused treatment.

A woman lost her wallet at one of three possible locations. Inside the wallet was $600 cash, 250 South African rand, a driver’s license, credit card and Sky Miles card.

A motorist was cited for an equipment violation, dangerous driving and possession of drug paraphernalia on Talbot Road.

Someone walked onto a work site on Ninth Street West and stole a cordless drill.

A storage shed at a church on Seventh Street West was burglarized.

A pair of rings were stolen on Ninth Street West.

The Whitefish Police Department responded to fireworks calls on East Second Street, East Seventh Street, Baker Avenue and Ashar Avenue.

An assault was reported on Flathead Avenue.

A resident reported shots heard on Golf Haven Drive.

A theft was reported on U.S. 93 South.

Officers with the Ronan Police Department arrested a person for aggravated assault at an apartment complex while serving a warrant.

The Polson Police Department received a report of theft at Glacier Brewery.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft at Cram-a-Lot Storage.
