St. John Lutheran VBS reminds children 'Jesus has their baa-ck'

<p>The children who attended the VBS received personal attention and learned Bible verses about Jesus’ saving grace from VBS Director Freda Howard and Pastor Steven Thomas. </p>

Even the hours for St. John Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School were different, holding class in the evenings Monday through Friday of last week. With the theme of “Jesus is my Shepherd — He Gave His Life for Us” was exercised throughout the weeklong program. Students experienced a curriculum with a Southwest theme — Rancho Roundup, where the Good Shepherd leads Kids Back Home.
