A Jeep Wrangler reported stolen from North Main Street early Sunday morning was later found in the river behind the House of Mystery, according to the Kalispell Police Department. The caller said he left work to find his Jeep gone. The keys were left in the vehicle.

Later Sunday morning, a man with a shaved head wearing camouflage pants and a black coat standing on a corner near the hospital agreed to move along. He was reportedly making nurses uncomfortable.

A woman reported her purse was stolen at a business on Hutton Ranch Road.

A baseball mitt, camcorder, camera and iPod were stolen out of a car parked on U.S. 93.

Prescription drugs were stolen out of a vehicle parked on U.S. 93.

Earlier Sunday, a woman on Fifth Street West told police she found her 14-year-old niece in a house full of heroin and grown men.

Saturday night, a 29-year-old man on East Wyoming Street accidentally shot himself in the leg.

A 15-year-old boy told police he was running through Woodland Park with about 30 other people chasing him. The caller advised one of them had a gun. Several officers responded and several juveniles were detained with two others released to their parents.

A man at Cemetery Road and U.S. 93 told police a bunch of paint fell off a truck trailer and onto his truck. He said he went to the car wash immediately but still had damaged paint.

Saturday evening, authorities were kept busy with reports of downed trees and power lines.

A woman said someone broke into her green Toyota pickup parked on Ninth Avenue West and siphoned its gasoline.

An iPod was reported stolen.

A woman who came into the police department to pick up her wallet had an outstanding warrant. She was taken to the Flathead County Detention Center.

A man on Indian Trail Road reported three stolen bicycles.

A woman reported her purse stolen from a locker at the city’s water park. She said her wallet, cell phone, car keys and glasses were inside, along with her work keys to several area businesses.

The driver of a white pickup hit and knocked down a light pole on First Avenue East.

Police ticketed the owner of a white Mustang convertible parked in a handicap space on Hutton Ranch Road. The car had expired plates and a “weird looking” handicap sticker that didn’t appear to be valid.

Someone reported a red canoe or kayak wedged upside down under a tree under the Columbia Falls bridge Saturday morning to the Columbia Falls Police Department. Officers searched up and down the river but did not find anybody. A canoe was recovered.

Polson Police arrested someone for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol Saturday on U.S. 93.
