Motorists will experience lane closures tonight on Interstate 90, at the site of the Beck Road interchange construction project in Post Falls, the Idaho Transportation Department announced.

Shoulder closures are already in place throughout the work zone.

The eastbound right lane will be closed from 7 p.m. to midnight. The westbound right lane will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. The contractor will be setting concrete guardrail that will be used to protect the bridge abutment work-zone area.

The closure will last one night. There will be future intermittent lane closures throughout the project timeline.

The project was designed by H.W. Lochner Engineering, of Boise, and is being constructed by Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction Company, of Draper, Utah.

Completion of the project is expected by late November.

The Idaho Transportation Department is responsible for all highways on the State Highway System – interstates, state highways and U.S. routes. All other roads are under the jurisdiction of the local, city or county entity.
