Passed away July 11, 2012, in Post Falls. Harold was born Aug. 8, 1917, to George and Louise (Bolin) Wint in Moorehead, Minn. He was raised in Deer River, Minn.
Harold was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving his country from 1942-1945 in France and Germany during World War II. Upon his discharge he lived in the Spokane, Coeur d’Alene area owning and operating Wint Logging Company. Harold loved to garden and travel.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemary; children, Harold Jr. of Kettle Falls, Wash., Delores Wing of Mica, Wash., Arnold Wint of Spokane Valley, Wash., and Gary Wint of Libby, Mont.; stepsons, Wayne Christenson of Fargo, N.D., Gary Christenson of Nothome, Minn., and Keith (Darcy) Christenson of Underwood, Minn.; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers and sisters; his first wife, Julia in 1995; two granddaughters and one grandson.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
