Polson grad earns memorial scholarship

POLSON — Sean Foot, a University of Montana senior from Polson, has been awarded an $8,000 J.E. Corette Memorial Scholarship from UM’s School of Business Administration.

Foot majors in management information systems at UM. He is a 2009 graduate of Polson High School and the son of Michael and Mary Foot of Polson.

The J.E. Corette Scholarship was established in 1993 by Jack E. and Sallie Corette. It was renamed a memorial scholarship after Jack’s death in 1994.

Polson registration for Little Guy Wrestling Tuesday

The registration meeting for Polson’s Little Guy Wrestling program will be held at Polson High School auditorium at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Polson Auditorium. The program is open to wrestlers from age 6-years-old through 8th grade.
