Teen pulled from water in Spirit Lake dies

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office reports that the 16-year-old drowning victim, August J. (A.J.) Marksworth, died about 8:30 this morning at Sacred Heart Medical Center.
The investigators do not believe that there is any indication of criminal activity and believe that this is only a tragic accident.
