POST FALLS - Approximately 4,600 feet of the Centennial Trail will be relocated temporarily as part of the Interstate 90 Beck Road interchange project in Post Falls.
A new interchange is being built at milepost 1, just east of the Washington/Idaho state line.
Relocation of the trail will end today. The detour will last throughout the project. This portion of the trail will be gravel until the permanent trail section is constructed as part of the interchange project. The trail will be clearly marked for bicyclists and pedestrians.
The project was designed by H.W. Lochner Engineering, of Boise, and is being constructed by Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction of Draper, Utah.
Completion is expected by late November.
