On Wednesday, July 25 there will be a free salmon fishing seminar at Town Ford in East Wenatchee. Shane Magnuson, Upper Columbia Guide Service, will share his techniques for catching summer run salmon, and Ron Oules of Reel-Lentless Guide Service will talk about methods for catching sockeye. The seminar will begin at 6 p.m. at the dealership in East Wenatchee.

The last item is a reminder to get your tickets for the annual Budweiser-Lowrance King Salmon Derby in Brewster. It will happen on Aug. 3 through Aug. 5 this year.
