After a half hour rain delay, Ray Blackwater, 72, prepares for the grand entrance at the North American Indian Days celebration in Browning on July 14. Blackwater says he asked for the rain to stop before he started to prepare for the dancing.

Evergreen junior high school principal, Kim Anderson, falls into a dunk tank after eighth grader Rosie Tozer hits the bulls-eye on Friday, May 25. Anderson awarded any student who showed accurate growth in math, or any other subject, a chance at dunking her, giving Evergreen students 451 attempts.
