Wildcat swim team takes fourth in Fort Benton

The Columbia Falls swim team took fourth at a meet in Fort Benton last weekend. Complete results were not available by presstime.

The team will travel to Cut Bank this weekend for their last regular season event. Divisionals will take place in Conrad on July 28-29. The Wildcats will host the state meet on Aug. 4-5.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
