Hanley and Orr win Elks Golf Tourney

The Elks Scholarship Golf Tournament at Cabinet View Golf Course was won by the team of Chris Hanley and John Orr with a low gross 3-under-par 33. 

The low-net winners were Bobbie Bamford and Joe Cielak with a net score of 24. 

Twenty teams played in the event on Saturday, July 21. Special guest for the tournament was Ryggs Johnston who represented the Libby Elks Lodge at the National Elks Hoop Shoot. 

Ryggs took second in the nation.  The proceeds from the tournament go to the Elks Scholarship Fund that provides scholarships to high school seniors in Lincoln County. 

All the prizes are donated by local business. The trophies were made and donated by John Graham.

1st Gross- Chris Hanley and John Orr

2nd Gross -Gary Peck and Wayne Haines

1st Net- Bobbie Bamford and Joe Cielak

2nd Net- Ryggs Johnston and Roger Johnston

Long Drivers- Men Chris Hanley- Women Carol Oedewaldt

Long Putts- Women: Polly Nosler;  Men: Chris Hanley

Closest to the pin- Jerry Mee and Dave Gaustad
