Northern Lakes Fire District announces promotions, new hires

HAYDEN - The Northern Lakes Fire District, which covers Hayden and Rathdrum, recently had several promotions and new hires.

Pat Riley, who has been with the district for 16 years, was promoted to deputy chief.

Mike Mather, hired as a firefighter in 1999, has worked his way through the ranks and is now the division chief of training.

Kevin Croffoot, who has served with the district for 20 years, is captain. Scott Hochberger, who has eight years of service with the district, and Jerry Moreau, 17 years, have achieved the rank of lieutenant.

Bob Jaeger and Chris Larson have been promoted to the rank of driver.

Three new members of the district include: Firefighter/EMTs Mike Avilla and Jarrod Pitts and Firefighter/Paramedic Greg Haddick.
