Update: Hit and run driver turns self in

Idaho State Police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck involved in a crash that killed a Post Falls man Tuesday on State Highway 200 near Clark Fork.

Kurt P. Henson, 47, died after the 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle he was driving struck an abrupt lane edge between the east- and westbound lanes in a construction zone, throwing Henson and his passenger, Kimberly S. Lenox, 43, also of Post Falls, from the motorcycle.

According to an ISP report, the Dodge truck was following behind and proceeded to strike Henson and the motorcycle before fleeing the scene.

Lenox was transported to Bonner General Hospital where she was treated and released.

Henson was a Spokane police officer.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact ISP at (208) 209-8620.
