Flathead Valley hosts final motocross race of season on Sunday

The final stop for the High Country Motocross Association race season is Sunday at Dairyland MX Park.
Sign-ups will take place 6-9 p.m. tonight and again on Sunday from 6-7 a.m. There will be a riders’ meeting at 6:45 a.m. Sunday with practice at 7 and racing at 9.
This will be the ninth race of the season. This will mark the second year this race has been held at Dairyland MX Park, located at 1665 West Valley Drive.
The track is owned by Kate and Tanner Marvin.
Several titles will be on the line for the finale.
In the 450 pro class, one point separates Adam Bryer of Kalispell and Trent Starkey of Great Falls.
In the 50 air-cooled class, Merrik Howard of Belgrade leads Kody Soule of Manhattan by 10 points.
Cade Cutler of Philipsburg has a three-point edge on Kolby Erickson of Belgrade in the 60B class.
Trey Brewington of Billings is four points ahead of Chance Halvorsen of Butte in 250 junior.
The winner of the 250 intermediate class will be decided by two individuals — Tim Schrapps of Butte and Jared Wisler of Twin Bridges. The winner gets the title.
Tanner Marvin, 250 pro, has a chance to finish third despite not running the whole season.
Admission is $10. Children 6-and-under are admitted free. Concessions will be available, along with limited camping.
