Brewers send Greinke to Angels

Albert Pujols had three hits, including a two-run double, and Dan Haren won his second straight start since coming off the disabled list as the Los Angeles Angels beat Tampa Bay 3-1 on Friday night at Anaheim, Calif., to snap a six-game losing streak against the Rays.

Haren allowed five hits in six-plus innings and struck out six, just hours after the Angels solidified their rotation with the acquisition of 2009 AL Cy Young Award winner Zack Greinke in a trade that sent rookie shortstop Jean Segura and Double-A pitchers Ariel Pena and Johnny Hellweg to Milwaukee.

Twins 11, Indians 0: At Minneapolis, Scott Diamond tossed a three-hitter, leading Minnesota past Cleveland.

White Sox 9, Rangers 5: At Arlington, Texas, Kevin Youkilis and Alexei Ramirez homered, leading Chicago past Texas.

Athletics 14, Orioles 9: Seth Smith had five RBIs and Oakland won at Baltimore.

Yankees 10, Red Sox 3: Curtis Granderson hit a grand slam and New York routed visiting Boston.

Blue Jays 8, Tigers 3: Carlos Villanueva won his fourth straight start and host Toronto beat Detroit.

* NATIONAL LEAGUE

Cardinals 9, Cubs 6: Matt Holliday, Yadier Molina and Lance Berkman started a power show by St. Louis, which became the first team in eight years to hit a home run in each of the first five innings and went on to win at Chicago.

Diamondbacks 11, Mets 5: At Phoenix, Josh Collmenter pitched six strong innings, drove in a run and Arizona beat New York.

Dodgers 5, Giants 3, 10 inn.: Hanley Ramirez hit a two-run homer in the 10th and Los Angeles won at San Francisco.

Brewers 6, Nationals 0: Corey Hart and Aramis Ramirez homered to lead host Milwaukee past Washington.

Braves 6, Phillies 1: Brian McCann hit a three-run homer and host Atlanta beat Philadelphia.

Padres 7, Marlins 2: Yasmani Grandal hit a three-run triple in the sixth, leading San Diego at Miami.

Pirates 6, Astros 5: Drew Sutton scored on a wild pitch in the ninth to lift Pittsburgh at Houston.

Reds 3, Rockies 0: At Denver, Bronson Arroyo pitched effectively into the seventh and Cincinnati beat Colorado.
