Law enforcement provided descriptions on Monday of two individuals thought to be connected to Sunday's fire that destroyed a duplex under construction on Nettleton Gulch Road.
Police are searching for two caucasian, teenage boys, according to Glenn Lauper, deputy fire chief at the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department.
The older is around 16, tall and sporting a faux hawk. He was seen on Sunday wearing a black shirt.
The younger boy is thought to be about 14, short, and also with his hair in a faux hawk. He was wearing a blue shirt on Sunday.
The boys are considered persons of interest by the police, Lauper said.
Lauper confirmed that Sunday's fire was caused by arson, though he couldn't reveal more details.
A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone with more information about the boys and their location. The reward will be provided by the Idaho State Fire Marshal.
