Sherman Lee Upchurch, 68, of Athol, passed away May 28, 2012. Sherm was born in Coeur d’Alene on April 6, 1944. He was a logger and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Sherm is survived by his wife, Vicki, of 48 years; daughter Tamie and Kirby Cunningham of Bayview; son Mike and Carol Upchurch of Athol; son Nate Upchurch of Athol; daughter-in-law Kelly Upchurch; mother-in-law Mildred Poland of Athol; six grandchildren, Amber Ritzheimer, Ryppan and Rollynn Upchurch, Mason Upchurch, Sherman and Peyton Upchurch; one great-grandaughter, Madilyn; sister Bonnie Mundell of Nebraska; numerous nieces and nephews; and a lot of very special friends.
Sherm was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Upchurch; sisters, Donna, Jacquie, Bird and Jane; and brothers, Jim and Bill.
