A 23-year-old Kalispell man changed his plea Wednesday on charges in three of his five active cases.
Nathan Bayreuther originally was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal trespass to vehicles in one case, later amended to felony burglary and felony conspiracy to commit burglary. In two other cases he was charged with felony bail jumping and felony tampering with a witness or informants.
Bayreuther pleaded guilty to the tampering charge, the conspiracy charge and the bail jumping charge, which was reduced to a misdemeanor. The remaining burglary charge was dismissed.
Bayreuther also is awaiting sentencing on felony convictions of criminal endangerment and assault on a peace officer as well as misdemeanor bail jumping, across two cases.
According to his plea agreement, Bayreuther will receive a net total of 10 years in jail followed by a further 10 years of probation, which will address all five of his cases. In addition, the agreement preserves his right to argue for a lesser sentence.
Sentencing was set for July 12.
