Potato board solicits candidates

MOSES LAKE - The 15-member Washington State Potato Commission (WSPC) board is seeking applications for two at-large positions coming vacant.

At-large commissioners can be growers or others involved in the potato industry and are voted in by the nine elected commissioners. The vote will take place at the commission's annual meeting June 18.

Anyone interested in being considered for an at-large position, and in serving a three-year term on the commission, is asked to submit a letter of intent by June 10 to the Washington State Potato Commission office at 108 Interlake Road, Moses Lake, WA, 98837, by fax at 509-765-4853 or via email jshipley@potatoes.com.
