Dave was born in Spokane on Dec. 31, 1950, and attended Rogers High School. Dave married the love of his life Dawn Mary Severson on Sept. 7, 1974, in Spokane.

In the 37 years that Dave and Dawn were happily married they had a lot of fun together and worked in various business ventures. They own Coeur d’Alene Pet Resort and Paradise Pet Resort in Spokane. Dave absolutely loved the dogs and owners that came into the resorts. He is remembered by them all by his always upbeat personality and big smile. Dave enjoyed traveling to warm places with his wife, riding his Harley with his close friends and a good game of golf on a nice sunny day. He loved spending time with his family. Talking about them always put that signature Dave smile on his face.
