Uggla, Hudson fuel Braves rout

Former Marlin Dan Uggla hit two homers in his first game at Marlins Park, including a tape-measure blow off the home-run sculpture, and Tim Hudson pitched a five-hitter for his 13th career shutout to help Atlanta beat host Miami 11-0 on Tuesday.
Uggla hit a solo homer in the fourth inning, and he scored a direct hit on the middle of the sculpture with a two-run homer in the ninth estimated at 432 feet. That sent a thud reverberating throughout the ballpark and increased his homer total to 10 this season and 200 for his career.
Dodgers 2, Phillies 1: Elian Herrera hit a two-run double off winless Cliff Lee in the eighth inning as visiting Los Angeles beat Philadelphia.
Nationals 7, Mets 6, 12 inn.: Bryce Harper hit a game-winning single with two outs in the 12th inning to lead Washington past visiting New York.
Pirates 8, Reds 4: Clint Barnes had three hits and drove in three runs as Pittsburgh beat host Cincinnati.
Astros 9, Cardinals 8: Justin Maxwell hit a two-run homer, Jose Altuve tied a career high with four hits as Houston beat visiting St. Louis.
Cubs 10, Brewers 0: Ryan Dempster earned his first win since last August, throwing seven innings of three-hit ball as visiting Chicago beat Milwaukee.
Diamondbacks 10, Rockies 0: At Phoenix, Ian Kennedy matched his career high with 12 strikeouts in six innings and Jason Kubel drove in five runs as Arizona beat visiting Colorado.
Padres 6, Giants 5: Rookie Logan Forsythe hit his first major league home run leading off the ninth inning as San Diego beat visiting San Francisco. Before the game, San Diego reinstated closer Huston Street from the 15-day disabled list and optioned right-hander Miles Mikolas to Triple-A Tucson.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
Indians 4, Tigers 2: Ubaldo Jimenez pitched into the seventh inning and the Indians hit three run-scoring triples to defeat host Detroit.
Yankees 7, Rays 0: Russell Martin hit a grand slam and Andy Pettitte struck out 10 as New York beat visiting Tampa Bay for its ninth win in 12 games.
Orioles 8, Red Sox 6, 10 inn.: Ronny Paulino ended a hitless night with an RBI single in the 10th inning as visiting Baltimore beat Boston.
Royals 1, Twins 0: Bruce Chen allowed four hits to win for the fifth time in six starts as host Kansas City beat Minnesota.
Blue Jays 9, White Sox 5: Colby Rasmus went 5 for 5 with a homer to help Ricky Romero earn his seventh win as visiting Toronto beat Chicago.
Rangers 6, Athletics 3: Ian Kinsler had two hits and drove in two runs as visiting Texas beat Oakland. Earlier, Texas slugger Josh Hamilton said he'll pass on this year's All-Star Home Run Derby after being offered the chance to captain the American League team.
