COULEE CITY - Two Moses Lake residents were injured in a crash on state Route 17, about 2 miles west of Coulee City.

On Monday about 2:15 p.m., Jake A. Hubbard, 37, of Malott, was driving a 2004 Freightliner truck south on SR 17 at SR 2, according to the Washington State Patrol. Hubbard allegedly pulled out in front of, and was struck by, a 2011 Honda Civic being driven east on SR 2 by Robert N. Kelley, 74, of Moses Lake.

Kelley and his passenger, Dorothy L. Kelley, 83, were reportedly injured and transported to Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata.

Hubbard was not injured.

The Washington State Patrol anticipates charges of failure to yield.
