Collision near Quincy sends four to hospital

QUINCY - A three-car collision sent four people from Wenatchee and Malaga to the hospital over the weekend.
It started Saturday when Exequiel C. Estrada, 38, of Quincy, allegedly stopped in the middle of the road to pick up a cushion, according to the Washington State Patrol.A 2010 Kia Sedona driven by Jeremy T. Jones, 33, of Rock Island, then reportedly slowed for Estrada's vehicle.
A 2000 Nissan Altima driven by a 17-year old Malaga teen, allegedly struck Jones' vehicle, which then struck the rear of Estrada's vehicle. The teen was later taken to Quincy Valley Hospital, along with Jones, and two other passengers in the teen's car. They were another 17-year old girl and Shelby Welch, 21, of Wenatchee.
