Findlay Automotive Group acquires Midway Nissan in Post Falls

POST FALLS - The Findlay Automotive Group has acquired Midway Nissan in Post Falls. The dealership has been renamed Findlay Nissan.

The facility, in the Post Falls Autoplex at 1800 E. Polston Ave., consists of a 20,000-square-foot sales and service facility that was built in 2004. This is the second Findlay Automotive dealership in Post Falls and is adjacent to Findlay Hyundai and Mazda franchises in Post Falls.

Vern Mathis, a Post Falls resident, is the general manager of the new dealership. Mathis also oversees the team at the Findlay Hyundai and Mazda dealership and has been a general manager for Findlay Automotive Group for many years.

"Vern has done an outstanding job for us in Post Falls" said Tyler Corder, Findlay Automotive's chief financial officer. "The efforts of Vern and his staff have allowed us to prosper in Post Falls despite the difficult economy of the past few years. Now that the economy is improving we feel the future in Northern Idaho is very bright. Our confidence in the Post Falls market is what prompted us to acquire the Nissan dealership."

Findlay Nissan is the 26th dealership owned by the Findlay Automotive Group. The organization is headquartered in Henderson, Nev., and has dealerships in Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Idaho.

For more information, contact Vern Mathis at (888) 904-8267.
