MOSES LAKE - A Moses Lake man was seriously injured when his motorcycle reportedly hit a pickup truck near Moses Lake.
At about 5 p.m. on Sunday, emergency responders were called to County Road 4 Northeast and County Road F Northeast in the Mae Valley area, according to the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
Edward J. Pashkovsky, 18, was reportedly found to have been driving a 2007 Kawasaski motorcycle at a high rate of speed east on Road 4 when he collided with a 1975 Ford Courier pickup truck at the Road F intersection.
Pashkovsky reportedly was thrown from the motorcycle, suffered serious injuries and was flown by Northwest MedStar to a Spokane hospital, the sheriff's office reported.
The driver of the truck, Kyle Armour, 21, Moses Lake, was reportedly not injured.
An investigation continues, but at this point it appears Pashkovsky was driving too fast, which caused the collision, according to the sheriff's office. No charges are anticipated against Armour.
